Virginia College Online, a leading provider of career education since 1983, seeks qualified candidates for the position of Admissions Associates. In this role, you will help future students make educational choices that will ultimately improve the quality of their lives. As an admissions associate, key deliverables include:Effectively developing and delivering phone based presentations Determining student applicant admissibility to the CollegeEvaluating and advising potential students on admissions requirements, options and other entry related issuesAssisting with the recruitment and retention of defined student groups
Ideal candidates will have impeccable written and verbal communication skills and will thrive on working in a customer centered environment. Additionally, competency in Microsoft Word, Internet applications and Windows navigation are required for success in this role. Those that have previous experience working in sales, recruiting and or a production driven environment will have highly transferable skills and are strongly encouraged to apply.
Associates degree with at least one year of directly related experience is required.
