Administrative Assistant to the VP of Enrollment Mgmt.
The main responsibilities of theAdministrative Assistant include providing the Vice President of EnrollmentManagement (VPEM) with administrative support, managing the daily officeoperations, managing the schedule of the VPEM, and being the general officemanager including the ordering of supplies, ensuring the effective operation ofoffice equipment, etc. In addition, this position maintains monthly budgetreports/analysis, processes payment of invoices and purchase orders. The Administrative Assistant serves asrecording secretary for the Board of Trustees Committee on EnrollmentManagement meetings, assists with development of annual and semi-annualreports; schedules organizational meetings and takes minutes of proceedings;assist with data collection for evaluation purposes; assists with special eventplanning; assists with other duties necessary for the smooth operation of theOffice of Enrollment Management and Admissions. A High School Diploma is required, bachelor'sdegree preferred. Prior administrative experience preferred. This position requires strong communication andorganizational skills with close attention given to detail, an enthusiasm forworking in a higher education setting, as well as excellent computer andinterpersonal skills. Proficiency with computer applications includingMicrosoft Word and Microsoft Excel are required. Ability to handle multipletasks in a fast-paced environment and a willingness to learn are essential.
