Part of The Pennsylvania State University, The Penn State Great Valley School of Graduate Professional Studies (www.gv.psu.edu) is located 25 miles northwest of downtown Philadelphia. The nation’s first research university facility permanently housed in a corporate park, PSGV stands among world-class corporate neighbors. It was created to accommodate the busy schedules of full-time professionals and other adults advancing or changing their careers and emphasizes the link between academic theory and professional practice. The surrounding region offers an exceptionally rich cultural life and the natural beauty of Chester County, Pennsylvania.
We welcome candidates with teaching interests in one or more of the following IS management areas: ethical issues in information technology, business applications, decision support systems, group support systems, knowledge management, human factors, IS strategy, organizational impacts, and technology and innovation. Ability to teach effectively in a Web-based environment is a plus. Doctorate, previous teaching experience, and some form of intellectual contribution preferred. However, applicants who have an MBA or an earned MBA and are ABD will also be considered.
The position will be available for the Fall 2008 semester. Starting July 2008, applications will be reviewed until the position has been filled.
