Adjunct Faculty, Business Program

 

Applications are invited for an adjunct faculty position in the MBA/DBA program.

 

Position Responsibilities:

Prefer experience working with graduate level students; extensive collaborative experience; skilled in the use of technology; an interest in initiating research and scholarly activities. Faculty duties include teaching blended graduate courses with online and face-to-face teaching; student advising; participation on campus and national level committees; student recruitment; assisting the program chair with public relations with regard to organizations impacted by the program; serving as a liaison with the local professional community, colleges and the public; cooperating with the program chair in coordination of department activities; participation in course development and revision; and other duties as may be reasonably assigned by the program chair.

 

Qualifications for the position include:

• An earned doctorate in business or related business field.

• Practical experience and graduate level teaching experience in on-line, blended and traditional classroom environments

• Evidence or ability to work successfully with school/university partnerships

• Potential for scholarly productivity

• Strong commitment to excellence in the teaching and advising of students

• Commitment to university/community service
