Coordinates educational workshops, clinical education and assessment for medical students and faculty in the Program for Integrated Learning curriculum.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Good organizational skills with the ability to determine priorities.
Ability to work on several projects simultaneously.
Flexibility toward scheduling demands.
Good computer skills.
Ability to interface with a wide range of professionals and support staff.
Good oral and written communications skills.
Ability to work as a member of a team.
Dedication to tasks and a flexible schedule to meet rapidly changing needs of the Department.
Responsibilities
Coordinates year two clinical skills workshops and clinical skills education and assessment activities.
Coordinates Pre-Orientation Program for Problem-based Curriculum
Coordinates bi-annual Facilitator Training Workshops in conjunction with CME Co-directors.
Assists in Program testing ? Individualized Process Assessment for year 1 and 2, aiding in the recruitment of faculty, set-up, collection and distribution of grades.
Supports Coordinators of Year One and Two with small group materials set up. Disseminates Learning Issues to faculty daily after small group sessions.
Processing small group evaluations
Processing PIL applications (i.e. photocopying MCAT's, PIL applications, disseminating to committee for approval)
Orders office supplies
Maintains student resource library.
Proctors exams as needed.
