As an Academic Advisor at Hesser College - Porthsmouth campus, you will counsel students enrolled in a variety of programs to help them fulfill their educational and achieve their career goals. You will represent a college providing quality education and giving students the skills they need for success in their life.   Great hours:  Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:00pm or 10:00am - 6:30pm What you will do:Provide assistance and academic advice to students in course selection and fulfillment of graduation requirementsMonitor attendance Review and support student Satisfactory Academic Progress The skills and experience you need: Display of highest levels of Integrity and Intelligence Ability to multi-task, and to succeed within strict deadlines Exceptional interpersonal and Customer focus skills Strong Detail orientation and capability to be highly organized Must have basic computer proficiency Bachelors Degree required, Masters preferred Who we are: Kaplan Higher Education (www.khec.com), is a division of Kaplan, Inc (www.kaplan.com), and The Washington Post Company (NYSE: WPO).
