ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
IN EAST ASIAN RELIGIONSThe Religion Department at Bucknell University invites applications for an entry level, tenure-track position as Assistant Professor in East Asian Religions. Candidates who have theoretical, interdisciplinary, and comparative interests, and/or familiarity with cultural approaches to the study of religion, including anthropology and sociology, are especially encouraged to apply. Teaching responsibilities include five undergraduate courses per year, which may include: Introduction to Asian Religions, Buddhism, Religions of China, Religions of Japan, and other courses in the candidate's specialty. PH.D. and relevant language competency required. At time of appointment, candidates will have no more than 4 years of full-time post-doctoral teaching experience.
