ADMINISTRATIVE MARKETING COORDINATOR

Regis University is seeking applicants for the position of Administrative Marketing Coordinator.

Under the guidance of the College for Professional Studies (CPS) Director of Marketing and Communications, the Administrative Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the development, implementation, and tracking of marketing strategies for undergraduate and graduate programs for CPS. This person will assist the department in meeting its mission of serving prospective students interested in CPS accelerated, undergraduate and graduate programs; serve as a member of CPS Marketing and New Student Enrollment team; and work independently and collaboratively with other CPS department representatives.

The Administrative Marketing Coordinator will assist in the development and execution of the overall marketing communication strategy for CPS Programs; manage implementation of assigned projects to meet strategic business and marketing goals and objectives, while adhering to timelines and to budgets; and be responsible for increasing brand awareness, identifying new marketing opportunities, generating sales leads, and maintaining a positive, consistent university image.

The ideal candidate will be able to proactively generate marketing ideas and process improvements, manage multiple projects and priorities within a faced-paced and dynamic environment. Marketing projects require team-based collaboration and responsibility for timeline and budget management, approval process management, and integration with other marketing communication strategies.

This person will manage all aspects of the CPS marketing budget including electronic filing and processing of vendor invoices, reconciling of accounts payable and general ledgers, project expense tracking, and budget forecasting with regular reporting on budget status; analyze results and recommend actions to improve performance; coordinate marketing communications strategies and tactics with the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system; and manage prospective student database to extract information to support the promotion of specific academic programs and target markets. Projects include managing prospect and inquiry database, including weekly reporting, marketing campaign creation with budget allocation and communication strategies, program accuracy updates and quality assurance, source tracking and reporting for all communications resulting from marketing campaigns and lead generation activities, generation of HTML e-mail communications, and collaborating with IT department on technical issues. This person will report on lead generation activities per student inquiry and by program type and target markets.

This position will assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns to include coordinating list purchases from third party e-mail, direct mail, and print media vendors, developing program literature and performing updates of marketing-related web site content while managing the core technical requirements of the CPS Marketing family of websites including purchasing and transferring of domain names, creating shared and dedicated hosting accounts, performing MySQL database backups, migrating web data across hosting platforms, and updating Web content (HTML); assist in conducting market research and the development of marketing strategies; assist in setting unit goals and outreach targets for CPS lead generation and new student enrollment; conduct relevant research and assist the Director of Marketing and Communications in the preparation of competitive analysis, marketing plans, and the marketing budget.

This person will also work collaboratively with CPS Directors, Associate and Assistant Directors and Enrollment Counselors to design and implement marketing activities to increase new student enrollment; and serve as liaison with university departments and on university committees whereby Marketing and New Student Enrollment issues are prevalent.

High School Diploma (or equivalent) required. Successful candidates will have four years of progressively responsible experience in budget and project management; experience in writing, editing, and producing marketing collateral; strong computer skills including proficiency in Excel, Word, Power Point and Internet research; strong analytical and interpretation skills; the ability to design, analyze, prepare, and present statistical reports; strong oral (includes public speaking), written and interpersonal skills; and the ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends - some travel required.
