Warehouse Lead

dreamGEAR LLC is a growing manufacturer / distributor of a full range of accessories for all video game platforms and iPod, iPhone and other MP3 products.  We're currently looking for an energetic supervisor to support our warehouse operations.  Prior warehouse experience in a leadership role is required.  Given our growth, there may be opportunities for future advancement.

Position Description: Supervise shipping, receiving and warehousing operations Promote spirit of cooperation and understanding both within the Warehouse and with other departments within the Company Assign projects and manage workloads within the warehouse, monitoring productivity and holding team members accountable for their individual efforts and contributions Assist in training, appraising and coaching warehouse staff Help ensure compliance with all Company policies, as well as all Federal, State and Local OSHA regulations Promote a safe work environment through personal example and policy enforcement, and help identify safety issues, as well as possible cost-saving opportunities Help minimize and resolve issues between employees Facilitate timely and accurate information/paperwork flow within the Warehouse and to/from other departments Physically assist crew, when necessary, to help complete tasks in a timely manner

Qualifications: Prior experience supervising warehouse activities in a conumer products company, preferably in consumer electronics Strong written and verbal communication skills Good basic arithmatic skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing) Proficiency with Microsoft Office products a plus (Word, Excel and Outlook) Team-oriented leader Excellent organizational and time-management skills Committment to superior work quality, accuracy and customer service Able to work in fast-paced environment Flexible and willing to work extra hours to ensure timely processing of product receipts and shipment of customer orders Excellent attention to detail and follow through on assignments and tasks delegated to subordinates
