Territory Sales Manager - Gourmet Food

To focus on clients such foodservice, bakery, specialty distributors and

end users in this region, we are seeking a dynamic individual for this

Territory Sales Manager position. This role is an addition to the current gourmet sales force due to the vast potential and opportunity this

territory has to offer.

 

The Role:

 

Reporting to the Sales Director Central, you will strengthen client

relations through a consultative and value added sales approach, set and

achieve sales targets, and increase the overall profitability of the

gourmet division within Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin.  You will be

responsible for:

 

Selling gourmet food products to foodservice, bakery and specialty distributors

 

Managing existing account and  established and open up new clients

 

Possess a solid understanding of the players and clients in this territory

 

Working closely with the National Key Account Manager Foodservice to

implement sales programs locally

 

Training and working closely with the distributor sales force to achieve

sales goals and targets

 

The Person:

 

You will possess:

 

8 to 10 years sales experience in sales of gourmet products or with a foodservice, distributor/broker background.

 

A proven track record in sales and client relationship management.

 

Solid connections with the major players in the foodservice and

distribution industry.

 

Previous background working independently from a home based office and

previous territory sales experience is a must for this key role.
