Territory Manager - Baltimore Area

Summary of Position: This person will manage a sales territory for an Vetoquinol USA, animal health products manufacturer.  Identifying and selling products to key veterinary clinics in the territory will be the most important aspect of this position.  The ability to build strong relationships with distribution partners will also be important.

 

Essential Job Requirements:    

  Demonstrate and sell products to veterinary clinics in the territory. Segment and prioritize the key veterinary clinics in the territory. Present in-clinic staff training seminars. Develop business relationships with distribution partners. Attend trade shows and company meetings as required. Complete call reports, expense reports and other business reports as required.

 

 

Required Skills:

  Solid Sales experience, preferably in the animal health industry. Understanding of the operations of a veterinary clinic. Proven ability to work in a self directed environment. Possess good analytical, communication and presentation skills. Good computer skills. Flexible attitude with demonstrated ability to adapt to change. Manage territory expenses within budget guidelines.

 

 

Physical Requirements:

  Must be able to drive a car. Must be able to travel 1-3 days per week including overnights.
