JOB OPPORTUNITY

 

We currently have an opportunity for a Territory Manager in the Alaska area. 

 

The Territory Manager is responsible to develop, coordinate and execute strategic marketing and sales plans for all hardware and traditional channel accounts and support branch locations of national accounts within their assigned territory to capture market share, grow sales and build strong relationships.

 

Specific duties include:

 

Growth of sales and market share of all hardware and traditional channel accounts in a designated market areas.

·  Identify and execute upon opportunities within the territory to convert product categories to Milwaukee from competitive brands as well as identify potential new distributors for market penetration and growth.

 

Build value added relationships with assigned distributor accounts in the region.

·  Support strategic initiatives at the branch location level of large distributors & regional hubs of National customers.

·  Leverage Milwaukee programs and promotions in the creative design of sell-through promotions.

·  Provide appropriate training for distribution sales staff in the areas of product, application and users.

 

Deliver the brand message to end users and distribution.

·  Support and implement strategic corporate brand marketing initiatives.

·  Cultivate end user demand and build brand champions through end user calls, creative sell-through programs and training.

·  Attract the next generation of end users through efforts with trade schools and apprentice programs.

 

Education & Experience:

·  Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field or educational equivalent.

·  Meet or Exceed levels of performance in a Territory Representative position or equivalent outside sales experience. 

·  Must show competency in Product Knowledge and Application Knowledge

·  Must be skilled in the development of account specific strategic planning, development and delivery of compelling sales presentations and understand customer financial analysis. 

·  Must be proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office applications.

·  Must possess effective business communication skills, broad business perspective and market savvy.

·  Requires a valid driver’s license
