Shift Schedules
First Shift: Monday through Thursday 5:15 am to 2:45 pm
Friday 5:15 am to 9:15 am
Second Shift: Monday through Thursday 3:15 pm to 1:45 am
Job Duties
Pick products according to customers order using a pick list.
Verify product codes for accuracy and quality.
Visually check products for quality to ensure the customer receives the highest quality products.
Safely operates Power forklifts and pallet jacks to reach various locations and levels.
Determine proper shipping cartons according to product specifications.
Follow written instructions to ensure products are packed according to customer’s specifications.
Stacks product and shipping cartons according to weight to ensure damage control.
Use Varsity shipping systems to track inventory
Complete all paperwork to ensure proper shipping and billing
Follow all safely rules and keep work area clean
Abilities
Work scheduled hours and days on first or second shift.
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
Physical abilities to lift, bend, squat, twist, push and pull
Work in a warehouse environment
Good communication skills - Ability to read and interpret written and oral instructions
Detail orientated and good math skills
Ability to operate power forklift and pallet jacks
Not afraid of heights to reach product on racking units with equipment
Expectations
Show up to work for each shift on time
Meet company performance standards for picking and packing after proper training
Follow company policies and procedures i.e. Dress Code, Harassment Free, Violence Free
Complete and follow Employment Agreement
Drug Free work environment
Pay
The position pays $10.75 per hour
Shift differential of .50 cents per hour for 2nd shift
