Graphic Designer for Print

A leading beauty industry brand in San Jose is seeking a full-time Graphic Designer for Print for a full-time on-site position at a fun and fast-paced consumer products company. Candidates must have superb design skills and technical aptitude. The Graphic Designer for Print will need to take direction well from the companyâ€™s Art Director and work collaboratively with others. Only candidates that that submit resumes with digital samples (or web site with online portfolio) will be considered.

Key responsibilities:

High volume design and revision of print materialsPreflighting Troubleshooting, Other projects as assigned

Required Proficiencies:

5+ years experience Advanced knowledge of print production methods Strong attention to detail and production quality Strong organizational skills In-depth knowledge of the following Mac platform applications: Adobe InDesign and/or Quark, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat on the Mac OSX platform; Microsoft Office Only local candidates will be consideredPrepress: Able to start a project and move it through the printing process.
