Work with businesses, service providers, and other tax professionals in the planning and structuring of tax implications from business and commercial transactions. Complete responsibility for tax planning (optimization) & tax compliance (non income & ad valorem) Optimize transaction strategy from a tax perspective Work with businesses and other tax professionals to identify and assess the economic and financial implications of different transactions from a tax perspective Partner with business leaders (within a variety of Koch business units) to ensure most tax efficient means of accomplishing the desired result Supervisor and Leader in the Tax Services Group At least 10 years of experience in the field or in a related area including significant responsibility for managing the tax affairs of a complex, multinational company Previous Big 4 or larger corporation experience Experience with transactions – M&A Corporate and partnership income tax experience required Broad background in corporate tax, including experience in both domestic and international tax planning and tax compliance Strong attention to detail Experience in managing tax professionals Education Required: JD or CPA Bachelor’s Degree Education Preferred: Masters or LLM in Tax preferredDrug tests are required, unless prohibited by state law.
