Supply Chain Specialist
Supply Chain Specialist position is available for multi-plant company in the food industry. This position will be responsible for processes involved in the supply chain with a variety of parties, including suppliers of transportation, raw materials, manufacturers, retailers, and wholesalers. Specialist has responsibility for evaluating existing process and identifying process improvement opportunities to drive business results (i.e. cost reductions, operational efficiencies, adequate controls, transportation, stock control, and warehousing) to ensure efficient flow of goods and materials. Minimum 2 years relevant experience in manufacturing preferred. BA/BS in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business required. Ability to communicate ideas and concepts effectively with all levels and all functions essential. Experience in freight carrier management, vendor management, and supply chain. ERP systems and database management skills are essential. 25% travel anticipated.
