Currently, we have an opening for a Supply Analyst in our Parsippany, NJ facility.  The responsibilities for this position include:

 

·  Manage the flow of materials from vendor to customer.

·  Develop a working relationship with customer’s inventory teams

­ Develop plans to control inventory levels and turns

­ Understand customer’s objective for product lines, placements, ad plans…etc.

·  Develop a forecast with sales and customer’s inventory teams

·  Understand and have working knowledge of Walmart’s Retail Link software

·  Interace with the Customer on forecasting on a weekly basis

·  Interface with Sales Administration on status of shipments and supply

·  Work with the Accounts Receivable department to ensure proper inventory projections

·  Interfacing with the retailer after each Ad Booking.

·  Resolve order issues to forestall hindrance of daily shipments

·  Commit to sales customer order delivery dates

·  Evaluate & maintain the MRP & MPS database daily to determine daily requirements

·  Evaluate inventory to determine most productive use of product, address Engineering requests & maintain prototype builds

·  Maintain backlog, keep Sales department updated on status of orders

·  Meet with sales and marketing to discuss existing product life cycles and new product introductions

·  Coordinate incoming shipments and lead times with Traffic Department 

·  Coordinate with Operations to ensure timely packaging and shipping requirements

·  Assist in other areas,  as assigned

 

 

 

Requirements:

 

·  Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent

·  3-5 years planning experience required

·  1-2 years working experience with Walmart’s Retail Link required

·  Strong interpersonal skills

·  Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively in English

·  Sales knowledge a plus

·  Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

·  Working knowledge of Microsoft office products

·  APICS Certification a plus
