Process Engineer

 

A fantastic opportunity for a Process Engineer that has a passion for the full compliment, from conceptual to scale up!  Hands on, continuous process. Duties will include R & D, process improvement, and optimization.


Key Deliverables: 

 Evaluate chemical processes and unit operations to improve operating efficiency and rate, product quality, on-stream factor and economy.Develop and make recommendations for new process designs and/or modifications for assigned areas to ensure maximum operating efficiency, return on investment, safety, and compliance with emission control requirements.Provide daily process engineering support to Production on operating problems and to maintenance/plant engineering on equipment performance and materials problems.Provide technical support to departments outside Production.Participate in ongoing R & D efforts as related to Process Engineering

Minimum Basic Qualifications:A minimum of a BS or MS in Bio or Chemical Engineering or appropriate scientific field.2-12 years experience.Practical experience with project scale-up development, associated unit operations and development of procedures and protocols. Advanced education (e.g., Ph.D. or post-doctoral appointment) may be acceptable with less years of industry experience.  Experience across all phases of project execution.
