Sr. Financial Analyst
Koch Nitrogen Company and its affiliates own and invest in nitrogen fertilizer production and storage capacity in North America, Trinidad and Tobago and Venezuela. The company's fertilizer interests manufacture, market and distribute more than 6 million metric tons of nitrogen products annually. Koch Nitrogen Company owns and operates facilities in Oklahoma, Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska which produce anhydrous ammonia, UAN and urea. These plants provide fertilizer to customers in Oklahoma, Kansas and the Midwest. Combined, Koch Nitrogen's fertilizer interests can produce about 6 million metric tons of nitrogen fertilizer annually. Koch Nitrogen Company is looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team. In an effort to capitalize on Koch’s unique position for future growth, Koch Fertilizer’s Business Development Group provides due diligence, financial modeling, and business analysis capabilities in the course of assisting and leading commercial agreements, ventures and M&A transactions and specific business reviews. This role will support the business development team with analysis, research, and modeling. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: • Financial modeling and analysis with a focus on the valuation of both public and private companies• Preparing presentations on potential transactions for senior management that identify and assess synergies, utilize various valuation techniques, analyze financial risks, etc.• Performing industry research and competitive analysis related to potential acquisitions and investmentsJob Requirements: • 2+ years experience in business analysis and financial modeling• 2+ years experience building business valuation models• Ability to build and maintain relationships with team members, businesses, and financial institutions • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Bachelors degree Preferred • Previous due diligence/M&A exposure • Investment banking with a focus on M&A • Big 4 accounting with experience in transaction advisory or valuation services • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics • MBA or Masters with concentration in Finance • CFA or CPA holder or candidate Compensation/Benefits Competitive wages and benefits packages commensurate with experience.
