Senior Sales Planning Manager (Health & Beauty Consumer Products)

Responsibilities:

Reports to the Vice President of Trade Marketing.

Supports the retail sale force by providing analytical support and interpretation.

Prepares reports, identifies trends, summarizes key learning’s and presents viable workable recommendations.

Works with the sales and finance people to establish and plan annual retail sales plans by account, by brand, to meet company’s business objectives.

Develops, tests and implements new reporting systems with the IT group.

Monitors and audits retail sales reports.

Manages Customer database in terms of accurate sales, promotions and incentive programs.

Requirements:

5-7 years of experience in Sales Planning within a retail/consumer products environment.

Experience in a consumer sales environment (department store experience a big plus).

Working knowledge of consumer products sales with retail customers with a solid understanding of their business needs and objectives. 

Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate this information into realistic actions.

Experience of building marketplace programs to support corporate strategic programs.

Ability to handle multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (i.e. v-lookups, formulas, linked spreadsheets).

Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Experience using Retail Sales and Data Warehouse Systems an added plus.

Bachelor’s degree.
