The Senior Project Manager-Community will work directly with the Director of Development-Community and the Director of Product Development to resource, schedule, and manage resources across the business and technology spectrums. Core responsibility will be to plan and manage community and online based projects across the full project lifecycle for Nutrisystems core US Community website.

Job Duties
Leads a wide audience of project stakeholders to a shared goal including offshore providers, 3rd party vendors, technical associates, and business people.
Takes accountability and responsibility for key activities such as change request prioritization, issue escalation, change coordination, resource planning, and project administration.
Demonstrates senior level communication skills appropriate to a wide range of stakeholders.
Exhibits an understanding of issues affecting a project especially when requesting executive level support.
Demonstrates technical understanding of the web application functionality, integration points, impact of enhancements or issues to customers, and root cause analysis process.
Substantial experience creating and delivering project deliverables such as scope definition, business requirements, functional specs, and others.
Experience with web design processes
Understands web/ecommerce architectures based on complex web applications and ensures the integrity of the design to the overall project plan.
Identify requirements and contingency plans that have the potential for risks based on the solutions being developed.
Leads and influences decision making with business and technology stakeholders to arrive to optimal solutions.
Assists in the evaluation and redesign of all application offerings.
Provides leadership in driving the timely resolution of issues and solutions to ensure alignment with business needs and technical feasibility.
Effectively identifies and understands project requirements.

Qualifications
Must have at least 7 years project management experience
PMP certification a plus
Has experience in planning, managing, and implementing large-scale high transaction volume B2B and/or B2C websites
Preference given to candidates who have experience managing Web 2.0, social media, or community oriented websites
Possesses change management experience
Has strong leadership, facilitation, and 3rd party vendor negotiation skills
Knowledge of Agile software development methodology (e.g. SCRUM, Rapid Application Development (RAD), Extreme Programming (XP))
Understands UML design / RUP methodologies
