The Sr. Principal SAP Analyst (FICO) will be required to analyze complex business problems to be solved with automated systems and provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meets business objective.   Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  Must be able to mentor, lead, design and configure solutions to meet the most complex business requirements in the core SAP R/3 FI/CO and related areas such as MM, PP, SD, and QM.   Extensive working knowledge and configuration of SAP R/3 General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit Management, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, and Internal Orders along with Materials Management and Sales & Distribution integration.  Experience with one or more of the following areas - ECCS (Enterprise Controlling Consolidations), BPS (Business Planning & Simulation), FSCM (Financial Supply Chain Management), Product Costing, COPA (Profitability Analysis) or the “New GL” a plus.  Develop, follow and enforce that best practices are followed for system stability and user experience. Superior analytical and business solving skills in assigned function. Superior cross departmental project management skills. This function requires extensive collaborations with key technical and business areas to define the tasks, to monitor plan and to develop executable time line. Implement and use (fact-based) metrics to continuously improve on quality and efficiency of solutions and to validate business value delivered.  Produce, follow, and enforce Quality Assurance standards to deliver stable, reliable, and highly available solutions.  Demonstrate effective and collaborative communication with internal team members and Business Partners.  Design, development and implementation of global solutions in multiple platforms and multi-tiered architectures. Identify project tasks and provide accurate estimates for completion of business solutions. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments. Education and Experience: Minimum 5 + years experience configuring FI/CO in SAP and working on releases greater than 4.7. Minimum 5 + years experience designing, building and implementing business solutions using information technology or in related field. 3-5 years experience in Accounting in a Manufacturing environment  Prior experience with upgrades, deployments and rollouts of functionality within a global setting.  Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or IT preferred.  Experience leading and mentoring a development team is desirable.
