Senior Benefits Analyst/ Manager for Global operations with focus on Retirement/Pension
We have been retained to locate a Senior Global Benefits Analyst/Manager for our rapidly growing,non automotive client just north of Milwaukee area.
This is a very stable, Corporate Headquarter location with 8,000 + global employees is looking to add a Senior Global Benefits Analyst/Manager. This is a new position that will be responsible for Benefits Administration.
Current Need
Administration of a variety of health and welfare plans; vendor management; analysis of plan provisions, processes and costs; respond to escalated inquiries and appeals; ensure compliance with federal and state regulations; develop communication materialsPosition Description
Participates in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's benefit programs including vacation, holiday, time off, sick pay, unemployment, retirement plans, disability, flexible spending, service awards, group health/medical/dental coverage, and life insurance. Develops program designed to keep employees informed about company benefit plans and any proposed changes. Ensures programs are current with regard to trends, practices and costs. Negotiates coverage, services and costs with carriers and brokers. Interacts with others in areas, such as the risk management or legal departments, to investigate innovative programs (e.g., self-insurance) to determine feasibility in terms of cost, risk to the company, and legal implications.Consults to appropriate corporate officers and/or regional decision makers as subject matter expert in the design, governance and competitiveness of the company’s benefit programs, to include, as applicable, pension and retirement programs, health and wellness (group insurances), executive benefits and other non-cash rewards programs. Global, strategic benefit management and communications practices to enhance program governance and employee understanding and appreciation of the programs Research and evaluate market benefit competitive levels, best practices, market trends and regulatory requirements to strategically and proactively address opportunities for improved benefit design to meet business and Total Reward objectives, and to best attract, retain and engage talent program design, communication and compliance for USA benefit programs, to include serving in the capacity of the ERISA Plan Administrator for all applicable plans. Support assessment and integration of benefit programs related to expansion via mergers and acquisition Work with HR operations and HRIS to develop benefit systems capabilities, tools and reporting in SAP. 5+ years benefits experienceAdditional Knowledge & Skills
BA/BS, CEBS or similar training a plus; Minimum 5+ years benefit experience; well developed written and oral communication skills; clear project management skills; knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding benefits.Education
4-year degree in HR, Business, or related field or equivalent experience
