Currently, we have an opening for a Security Officer in our Parsippany, NJ facility.  The responsibilities for this position include:

 

·  Perform interior and exterior patrols

·  Provide basic (non-technical) backup facilities support

·  Alert management immediately about any policy violations, accidents, or other unusual occurrences

·  Prepare written reports on policy violations, accidents and other  unusual occurrences

·  Provide security on various assigned shifts, as directed

·  Initiate investigations under the direction of supervisor and/or manager

·  Provide physical and personnel security as defined by the company

·  Implement departmental Standard Operating Procedures and guidelines

·  Inspect all fire safety devices such as exit signs, fire extinguishers, and other security alarm equipment on a monthly basis

·  Support security supervisor and/or manager as needed

·  Assist in other areas, as assigned

Requirements:

 

·  High School diploma or equivalent

·  Minimum 2-3 years experience in law enforcement or security field

·  CPR/First Aid of EMT certification highly desirable

·  Good communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively in English

·  Bilingual in Spanish a plus

·  Ability to work well under pressure in emergency situations

·  Valid Drivers License with clean driving record

·  Good conflict resolutions skills

·  Work Schedule flexibility and ability to work overtime
