Sales and Marketing Director

This experienced, hands-on sales and marketing director will pull together a diverse sales effort at this fast-growing health food organization, providing key marketing strategies to take this growing company to the next level of performance.The successful candidate will have experience in both sales and marketing and will be charged with molding a cohesive team of in-house CSRs, business supplier partners, joint venture partners and field sales representatives.  This director will provide key marketing expertise and will implement creative marketing strategies which maximize sales across multiple channels.  Reporting to the CEO, the sales and marketing director will expand the existing sales network to enable dramatic sales growth in this growing market niche.The successful candidate will have a minimum of seven years of sales experience and at least three years of sales management experience and an appropriate four-year college degree.  In addition, the next director will have had at least three years of marketing experience and will have demonstrated the organizational and motivational skills required to create and lead a successful sales team.It would be preferable that the candidate has experience in an entrepreneurial environment, and especially desirable if he or she has worked in the natural foods environment.  It is essential that the candidate have demonstrable marketing experience success.  A high priority is in-depth knowledge of results-driven sales compensation plans and the ability to teach others how to maximize sales effectiveness.
