Sales and Marketing Analyst - Downers Grove

1. Establishing and monitoring marketing Key Performance Indicators such as: New product performance Brand, gap, customer and mix analysis Financial returns on marketing initiatives such as couponing2. Sales analysis including: Trade spend versus sales performance by product, account, brand, etc… Daily and standard mid-month and month end sales reporting Closing % of opportunities Tracking performance against targeted conversions Tracking Lost Business3. Administration of: Price increases Specifications on price lists Item and customer master files 4. Assist with the annual budgeting process as needed
5. Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

1. Be able to work with a moderate degree of independence
2. Strong analytical skills
3. Excellent written and oral communication skills
4. Excellent ability to keep a large number of projects/tasks going concurrently
5. Strong project management and coordination skills, and ability to excel in a fluid, cross-functional teams
6. Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
7. Seasoned experience using Microsoft Excel
8. 2-4 years providing analytical support to a sales and/or marketing organization

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business
