Sales Administrator

 Responsible for assisting in Swiss-American’s implementing of selected sales and marketing initiatives.  The Sales Administrator will coordinate work flow between sales, purchasing and customer service to achieve company’s sales objectives.  Additional responsibilities include processing sales reporting, coordinating submission of proposals, planning meetings, tracking sales and new item progress.  Serve as a liaison between traveling sales representatives and staff based in the office. Strong computer and organization skills are required.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

1.      Support the sales department by providing administrative support to the Regional Sales Managers and Senior Management

2.      Provide support on administrative tasks including correspondence, presentations (including Power Point) and projects. 

3.      Assist in keeping inventory of marketing materials up-to-date and printing material for sales team across the company, maintain/update the sales contact and file databases

4.      Support sales efforts by supporting the new item process between sales, purchasing and customer service with tracking, communication

5.      Help create and track new item flyers and sample orders

6.      Manage promotional calendars for off invoices, ad monies, customer calendars

7.      Run sales reports for analysis

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

1.       Bachelor’s/Associates degree in Business or one to two years of experience in a business sales/marketing administrative environment preferred. 

2.       Effective written and oral communication skills

3.       Strong support skills

4.       Able to successfully coordinate efforts internally and externally

5.       Independent worker

 

 

TOOLS OR EQUIPMENT TO BE USED:

 

1.      MS-Word, Excel and PowerPoint software

2.      Comfortable with Access or database reporting a plus
