Individuals who are driven to earn our customers' trust and business every day, who act with integrity, who treat everyone fairly and value diversity, and who are accountable for their actions are welcome to show interest in becoming a member of our winning team.To manage the daily activities necessary to create and maintain routes that are efficient for the scheduled day, require minimal technical intervention, minimize costs to the business and ensure promises to the customers are keptQualificationsEvaluate and close any capacity gaps that might affect the efficiency and balance of the routing solutionConsider and escalate special order requirements that might affect workload balanceCreate and maintain routes taking into consideration system logic and district's parametersConsider technician and call locations when evaluating service order assignmentsUse system tools to evaluate route solution efficiency and predict impacts to the business and customersCommunicate with Routing team, Technicians, Customers, Support Departments and Management changes or any issues that might affect timely delivery to the customerProvide feedback on call growth, group specialization, road speed or any other parameter that might improve/affect the routing solutionSend/Answer message or phone calls as required by the businessMust follow all company policies and proceduresMiscellaneous duties as assignedEssential FunctionsEvaluate required capacity and scheduled capacity for the route being created. Work with district to close gapEvaluate and assign orders with special requirementsCreate or maintain routes according to daily assignment. (Next Day/Same Day)Act on routes that exceed parameters or increase the cost to the businessEvaluate and act on all unassigned service orders for the dayEnsure customer promises are kept by escalating any route or service order not meeting expectationAnalyze and respond route concernsMonitor and balance routes to match available technical capacity for the day, filling free time and reducing overtimeAbility to read, write, and speak EnglishThis job is performed indoors in an office setting, seated at a desk, with extensive telephone and computer usage.Experience/EducationHigh School Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred Some college a plus Must be at least 16 years of ageExperience and aptitude with computers, databases, logical systemsKnowledge of internet based applicationsExtensive CARS Routing System KnowledgePrior team based experienceBenefitsStarting Rate: $13.00/hourSears is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
