Research & Development Technician

Learn more at www.kochglitsch.com The Research & Development department of Koch-Glitsch, LP, Wichita, KS has an immediate opportunity for a Research & Development Technician. Some of the responsibilities of this position are:• Fabricate and install prototypes• Operate pilot plants• Assist lead technicians and engineers in constructing test facilities• Collecting and archiving data• Basic maintenance on pilot plants• Environmental, Health & Safety program (including house-keeping)Requirements • Must be mechanically inclined (ability to fabricate prototypes and do maintenance) • Physical requirements include stair climbing, vessel entry and handling of heavy equipment • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word • Ability to multi-task • Good written and verbal communication skills • Impeccable EH&S record • Reliable Education/Experience • Experience in gas processing, refining or chemical plants or pilot plants will be a plus. • High School Diploma • Vocational training or associates degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Science desired. • Physical requirements include stair climbing, vessel entry and handling of heavy equipment Compensation/Benefits Competitive wages and benefits packages commensurate with experience.
