Rental Administrator

An established manufacturing facility is seeking a Rental Administrator.

 

This position exists to develop and maintain rental customers, coordinate rental activities, and perform day to day duties of Rental Department under the guidance of the Director of Customer Service & Sales Engineering.  Customer oriented and customer responsive. Must be able to work within a Team concept, able to multi-task and be able to organize the workday effectively and with high degree of accuracy. Have a willingness to learn new skills, think outside of the box and move our current rental department to the next level taking the department lead and working with Senior Management to streamlines processes utilizing existing resources.   Strong PC skills including MicroSoft Office. Able to push, pull, lift, sit, stand and use miscellaneous office equipment for extended periods of time in the performance of duties.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

Process, administers and flows through on customer rental inquiries and orders and expedites delivery of products or services.  Coordinates activities concnerned with contracts for rental of equipment, products, or services, contracts with customers, examines rental agreements and delivery schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy of orders.  Coordinates sales orders with logistics department ot implement fulfillment of customer orders and contracts.  Assists with the processing and administration of 3rd Party Service Provider activities. Represents company to customers to resolves any issues pertaining to order or rental contract.  Provides maximum service to Customers.

 

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Initiate rental sales through customer contact.2. Answer incoming phone calls 3. Schedule rental equipment to obtain maximum utilization.4. Write up rental agreements and issue units to customers.6. Check in returned units and complete unit condition reports.7. Write up sales orders for completed rentals and repairs.8. Enter work orders on the computer and schedule units for required maintenance.9. Maintain equipment files.10. Provide follow up to customers to ensure proper service is provided.11. Perform other duties and projects as assigned and required.

 

SKILLS:• Strong customer orientation• Strong computer skills to include MS OFFICE, with preference for JD Edwards
