Receiving Manager
MISSION FOODSA leader of Mexican Food Products has an immediate opening for an experienced Receiving Manager for their Rancho Cucamonga Plant. The Receiving Manager’s overall responsibilities are to maintain the control and distribution of all raw and packaging materials at the Rancho Plant as well as to ensure proper and accurate management of all materials while maintaining a safe, clean work environment in the receiving floor and yard.Essential Duties · Responsible to create and maintain a safe work environment for all employees in the receiving warehouse.· Develops and manages employee-training programs, including monthly audits for compliance.· Actively participates in all management meetings and plant programs.· Develops presentations and coordinates monthly meetings with key staff in order to maintain open lines of communication and provide departmental and plant results.· Complies and keeps administrative requirements current: inspections, CAR's, consumer/customer complaints, service failures, safety, food safety, CQI open items, cost and other management reports.· Distributes any pertinent information that the department receives from other plants, purchasing, administration and plant manager in a timely manner.· Participates in developing the operational budget; is responsible for monitoring that budget is met providing management with a monthly variance report as requested.· Manages all receiving area operations (examples) safety program, food safety, food security, product recall, inventory control, etc.), in accordance with company policies and procedures.· Maintains records and insure department compliance with all Federal and State regulations: SPCC, SWPP, OSHA, Labor Law, etc.· Monitors the receiving yard area to insure compliance with Federal and State regulations: SPCC, SWPP, OSHA, etc. Report any noted violations immediately.· Maintains up to date records for all plant programs: HACCP, Food Safety, Safety, Quality, Recall, etc.· Ensures records are maintained for all transaction following plant requirements, company policies and procedures.· Maintains up to date records of obsolete inventories, damage materials and expedite disposition.· Be familiar and have knowledge of the procedure and controls of the receiving warehouse and its operations.· Knowledge of all packaging, raw materials, SAP codes and descriptions.· Knowledge of all paperwork flow, deep knowledge of the “Recall Program” including gathering the information required, generate the reports needed and distribute to the appropriate departments.· Maintains awareness of any problems that may occur during the daily operation. Notifies the involved managers and takes the lead until the problem is resolved.
