Raw Material Purchasing Manager      Job DescriptionWork closely with operations management to develop and maintain ongoing market / demand forecasts and manage a supply plan to effectively meet the forecast regarding production of a nutritional supply packaging company. The supply plan is used to ensure reliable / secure supply, to minimize the total cost of supply and to manage market risks. Identify and implement agreements to support the production schedule/plan and manage the implementation details of these arrangements. Implementation details include establishing and communicating appropriate release numbers, reviewing and tracking inventory reports, reviewing all related invoices, and assisting with the reconciliation of volumes. In addition, provide accurate and appropriate information to assist Accounting.Fully understand the logistics concerning kosher vs. non-kosher materials. Purchasing raw material for nutritional supplements background a plus.Quickbooks and Great Plains a plus.
