 OverviewOversees the operational aspects of the Quality Control Department relating to the manufacturing and distribution of products in strict accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, current Good Manufacturing Practices, company policies and procedures and utilizing FDA requirements governing the manufacture of nutraceuticals products.Essential ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement complete quality systems for both developing new products and for controlling the quality of our current products.Develop and implement the stability testing program for all products.Prepare the company quality plan/sample plan with relevant parties e.g. Compliance R&D, Contract Manufacturers, Operations.Establish and oversee the application of testing protocols for all products in all business lines.Coordinate external testing labs and generate reports for external and internal consumption.Manage the release of products.Monitor the execution of testing and release activities.Maintain quality assurance and quality control activities and duties.Facilitate the company's Quality Management System.Provide feedback to Management Team regarding Quality concerns.Author, review and approves SOPs, protocols, test plans and reports.

 Technical Skills/Job KnowledgeStrong Knowledge of Quality Systems Design and ImplementationUnderstands and can articulate the compliance and regulatory principles that underlie practices and guide projects.In-depth knowledge of Quality Operations Knowledge of cGMP as they relate to the food, dietary supplement, or pharmaceutical industries.Strong Knowledge of Testing Protocol Requirements and Industry Standards.Demonstrated abilities to develop and supervise Quality Control/Assurance personnel.Must possess the ability to identify problems, trends, develop solutions, and implement a course of action.Ability to assimilate information quickly.Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills.Strong written and verbal skills.Ability to prepare and deliver technical information relating to Quality of the Products to a variety of audiences.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).

Education- 4 year degree

5-7 years experience
