Quality Assurance & Compliance Specialist

If you are looking to work for a great company in a fast paced fun environment come join our team.  We seek a self-motivated, high energy professional that will provide oversight of all quality requirements for consumer retail products, both hard and soft goods, with a particular focus on customer specific programs.  In this position you will make immediate contributions by enhancing the current product quality program, coordinating new item set up, improving internal and external inspection processes, and improve customer /supplier quality relationships, as well as maintain compliance with all pertinent federal and state consumer product regulations.  You will report to the Director of Global Quality and will interface cross functionally on a daily basis with all departments to ensure quality requirements are being met.


 QUALIFICATIONS:

·  Knowledge of quality assurance / quality control, methods, principles, and practices, using a variety of standard test methods such as ASTM, UL, AATCC, etc. 

·  Prior lab experience with consumer products and knowledge of quality principles, techniques, and methods in the areas of hardline and softline testing and inspections.  Must have strong analytical, computer and communication skills   Bachelor's degree preferred with experience in the consumer manufactured goods industry a plus.
