PURCHASING AGENT
Conair Corporation, a recognized leader in salon appliance products, personal care appliances, toiletries, electronics, hair care products and high-end kitchen appliances and cookware, has a purchasing agent position available within our Liquids Purchasing Division.
We require a Bachelor’s Degree and 8 to 10 years' experience in purchasing and/or planning in a sales and manufacturing environment, as well as SAP knowledge or similar MRP mainframe requisition generating systems. The ideal candidate must be extremely organized with the capability to multi-task and interface with various departments within the organization, and demonstrate strong negotiating and communication skills. Knowledge of import sourcing is a plus.
This position’s main objective is to procure and develop packaging components, meeting pricing of objectives, free from defects in a timely manner, supporting sales demands and manufacturing schedules.
