Purpose:

 Manage procurement process for all necessary components for company displays covering pricing, sourcing, and executing purchase orders and expediting processes for the customer.

 

Expectations:

 Monitor approval of accounts to maintain an appropriate degree of control over vendor relationships.Manage assigned accounts.Establish buying cycles, customer needs, and create a customer supplier relationshipSecure and place orders taking into consideration delivery dates and inventory levels for fulfillment Prepare sales information for customersProvide administrative support to production management, assist with bids and quotes, and input orders as requiredCoordinate preparation of structural design and graphics for productionApprove production display components with plant managementTake ownership of projects and execute through completion

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:Associate’s degree or 2-3 years experience or combination, with education in areas of accounting, contracts, purchasing, quantitative methods, management, and a background of purchasing and procurementStrong communication and organizational skills Self-starter who can perform independently on structural projectsStrong customer service skills to provide excellent service Interface with co-designers on design conceptsAdapt to deadline constraints Prior management or supervisory experience is preferred.Possess working knowledge of MS Office Word, Excel, Access, and Project and standard industry procurement software.Must possess strong analytical skillsAttention to detail is critical
