Learn more at www.kochglitsch.com Koch Glitsch has an immediate opportunity for a Project Engineer to work at our 4900 Singleton Blvd, Dallas, TX 75212 office. The primary duties are detailed as follows: Serve as the primary technical contact for the customer throughout order execution. Function as a liaison to foster effective communication between all internal parties and the customer throughout order execution. Assess purchase order requirements and ensure proposed solution meets, or exceeds the contract specifications and/or Koch-Glitsch best practices. Identify and resolve any discrepancies in the project scope by means of estimating the impact, negotiating a solution with the customer and implementing the necessary internal revisions to document the change order. Develop the detailed equipment design to accommodate the system requirements on the basis of mass transfer efficiency and hydraulic operating capacity. Define the structural design requirements to support the mass transfer equipment at the system operating conditions. Develop internal specifications in the form of data sheets and CADD sketches to relay key design parameters to the drafting department. Perform design review to verify compliance of equipment drawings with internal specifications prior to their issuance to the customer. Provide support to the customer during drawing review, as required. Support post-fabrication design review and testing, as required. Provide installation and start-up support to customer, as required. Job Requirements: Must be detailed oriented and driven to finish projects Strong problem solving aptitude with good economic decision making skills Strong oral and written communication skills Strong computer skills Well developed understanding of fluid dynamics principles Aptitude and interest for structural calculations Familiarity with mass transfer and chemical systems is a plus 2 years previous experience required Compensation/Benefits Competitive wages and benefits packages commensurate with experience.
