Position Summary:  This position provides the opportunity to demonstrate leadership, business and teamwork skills while being responsible for the day to day manufacturing within an assigned department.  This position offers excellent opportunities for career growth.

 

 



Key Responsibilities:  This position will be responsible for the production of cookies and/or crackers in a manufacturing facility.  The production supervisor will be responsible for achieving safety, productivity, efficiency, output, cost, and quality objectives and will have up to 25 people reporting to them.

 

 



Knowledge and Skill Requirements:  Possessing a Bachelor’s degree is a requirement for this position.  Our client is looking for someone who has a strong background in operations and/or maintenance including 3 years experience in manufacturing management.  Excellent technical, teamwork, communications, and coaching skills are required.  Having experience working in a bakery, food service, pharmaceutical, or other fast paced automated facility will be considered a plus.  The successful candidate must be willing to work 2nd and 3rd shifts and overtime as needed.
