Koch Nitrogen Company and its affiliates own and invest in nitrogen fertilizer production and storage capacity in North America, Trinidad and Tobago and Venezuela. The company's fertilizer interests manufacture, market and distribute more than 6 million metric tons of nitrogen products annually. Koch Nitrogen Company owns and operates facilities in Oklahoma, Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska which produce anhydrous ammonia, UAN and urea. These plants provide fertilizer to customers in Oklahoma, Kansas and the Midwest. Combined, Koch Nitrogen's fertilizer interests can produce about 6 million metric tons of nitrogen fertilizer annually. Koch Nitrogen Company is seeking a motivated and self driven Production Leader to manage the operations group at our Anhydrous Ammonia plant in Fort Dodge, Iowa. The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:• Development and implementation of effective work processes• Development of department personnel• Management of the operating budget• Ensuring that operations are conducted in a manner that meets safety, environmental, and production targetsJob Requirements: • Must be able to climb stairs and ladders • Must be available for weekend and after hours emergency call-outs • Industrial process experience • 5+ years management experience in operations within a chemical plant • Strong commitment to Safety, Environmental Compliance, and Plant Reliability • H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. Preferred • Change Management experience• Ammonia Plant experience • Bachelor degree in Engineering Compensation/Benefits Competitive wages and benefits packages commensurate with experience.
