Opportunity as a Product Manager

 

Fiskars Brands, Inc., a global manufacturer of branded consumer products, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, energetic, and team-oriented individual to fill the role of Product Manager in the Marketing Department at our FISKARS Garden and Outdoor Living (GOL) division in Sauk City, WI.  The primary responsibilities of this role will be to execute the product strategy and deliver new products to the marketplace that are relevant to the consumer, important to the retail trade, and profitable for the company.  Manage all facets of the product development process, lead all corporate functions involved in the process, and develop and manage ancillary marketing projects.

 

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

· Execute product strategy - lead multifunctional teams to deliver products from concept to delivery at retail.



·  Customer Service - as a Marketing leader, must develop relationships with key personnel in other functions.

·  Category/product analysis - track and understand assigned products' sales results and profitability.

·  Execute assigned broader miscellaneous Marketing department function(s)/projects - i.e. merchandising, PR, etc.

 

Ideal candidate will possess:

·  Bachelor’s degree in Marketing (or equivalent) with 2 – 3 years experience in a marketing capacity in a consumer product environment.

·  Must be a creative thinker with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

·  Willingness to assume accountability for budgets and timelines.

·  Must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

·  Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment essential, with a high degree of flexibility and tolerance of change.
