Process Engineer

Position Title: Process Engineer(JS-51-08)

 

Reports To: Chief Engineer

 

Location: Trona, CA (near Ridgecrest, CA) 

 

Compensation: $ 70,000 to $ 80,000 (Commensurate with Experience)

Our Client:

 

Is one of the largest manufacturers of Consumer Products (soaps, edible salt, detergents, scouring products and other toiletries) and Industrial Products (soda ash, LAB, AOS, fatty acids, glycerin and sulphuric acid).

 

The Trona Facility is a mining operation for Boron Minerals, Sodium Sulfate and Soda Ash using an advanced solution mining and crystallization technique.

 

 

 

Position Requirements:

 BS degree or higher in Chemical Engineering or related field.

 Ten years in manufacturing processes, of which, 5 to 7 in chemical plant “hands-onâ€� experience.

 Responsible for carrying out a variety of technical assignments to improve the profitability of the Trona Operations. 

 Must have a thorough understanding of process equipment and inorganic chemical processes, including heat and material balances, hydraulics and pumping, heat transfer, crystallization, filtration, drying and solids handling.
