Job Description: Ocean Spray is seeking a strong finance leader for our state-of-the-art bottling facility in Henderson, NV. Just minutes from the glitter of the Strip and a few miles from the serenity of Mount Charleston, the city of Henderson offers an oasis retreat in the middle of the Mojave Desert. Referred to as the other side of southern Nevada, the city of Henderson is nestled among three of the most renowned man-made attractions – the neon of Vegas, the engineering marvel of Hoover Dam, and the tranquil beauty of Lake Mead. As a premier residential community, Henderson, Nevada offers both residents and visitors alike an abundance of cultural events, special attractions, miles of trails and open spaces, and outstanding recreational facilities as well as renowned resorts, restaurants and shopping. Principal Duties and Responsibilities of the Plant Controller: Reporting to the Plant Manager as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Plant Controller directs the Finance and Information Technology functions for the Henderson facility. The incumbent will develop and communicate the Plant’s strategic vision and direction towards manufacturing excellence. The Plant Controller is responsible for financial analysis of operations, financial plans and policies, accounting practices, financial reporting and the maintenance of fiscal records. The position involves supervision of general accounting, property accounting, internal auditing, cost accounting, and budgetary controls. The Controller also works closely with Henderson’s IT department to insure effective planning and management of IT assets and functionality.Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is required, advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 5-10 years progressive experience and responsibility in manufacturing finance, with 5 years in a managerial position, directing a multi-function staff. Able to build relationships, influence and interact with all levels in the organization. Strong project management, communication and PC skills. Food industry background and experience is highly desirable.
