POSITION SUMMARY:Multiskilled individual with primary responsibility to maintain all Packaging and Warehouse (Automated Storage/Retrieval System) equipment in a proactive manner, and ensure that the target efficiencies are met or exceeded. Optimize and Implement the preventative maintenance activities following the TPM and Consequence Driven Maintenance (CDM) approach.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:* Maintain and troubleshoot all Packaging Equipment and ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System) equipment. Provide assistance to operations for adjustments and changeovers as needed. Includes but not limited to:* Labelers* Case Packers and shrink wrap machines* Palletizers and Stretch wrap machines* Conveyor systems* Automated/Manual Storage and retrieval systems* Product transport systems* Basic moving equipment support. Forklift maintenance will be the responsibility of one specialist in this job classification.* Maintain Quality Control standards at all times'perform through SPC and in compliance with QMS Advanced Level standards and all FDA requirements.* Data Reporting'Responsible for initiating, scheduling, and completing all work orders within CMMS system per Nestlé Business Excellence Best Practices.* Implement condition based and preventive maintenance work in alignment with manufacturing schedules and requirements.* Prepare and control maintenance and capital expenditure budget for the area* Analyze packaging performance data and provide improvement support based on findings and analysis.* Proactive maintenance to minimize line down time* Creative problem solving skills to perform equipment improvements and enhancements to optimize production with positive contribution to all key plant indicators safety, quality, cost, and service* Manage the skilled trades assigned to the area and be responsible for training and coaching them* A strong commitment to improving packaging performance and reliability.* Support operational requirements when necessary* Lead CDM, TPM and Improvement teams* Schedule backlog projects and keep work order backlog to a minimum. Complete all work, planned and unplanned, in a timely manner. REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:* B.S. Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 3-5 years experience in a maintenance organization in a manufacturing environment.* Excellent communication, team building, troubleshooting and planning skills are necessary.EXPERIENCE:* 1 to 3 years experience in Manufacturing environment; food industry experience preferred. Packaging experience preferredSKILLS:* Strong food process background, fluid and aseptic preferred* Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, and MS project preferred.* Knowledge on PLC, MES and downtime tracking systems is preferred* TPM background* Strong project and maintenance management skills* Excellent organization, oral and written communication skills* Ability to work well with others: skilled trades, process resources, management team members, outside resources, vendors, etc.* Team player* Understand principles of QMS, HACCP, SOP's* Skilled trainer RESPOND HERE!
