Brief Job Description:

The PR/Advertising/Web Assistant Manager will work closely with the Global Hair Care Advertising Leader to manage the strategic development of John Frieda creative assets.  This includes managing outside agencies to develop the website creative, implementing PR strategies on a Global basis, managing production budgets, communicating with key geographies on creative needs, tracking Global competitive advertising and providing necessary assistance on advertising development and execution.

Job Requirements: 

§ Prior marketing experience with a global brand

§ Hair care or beauty experience is strongly preferred

§ Demonstrated skills in managing the development of creative assets

§ Experience facilitating the creative review process

§ Demonstrated ability to see the “big picture�, be creative and work at a strategic level

§ Experience managing a budget

§ Qualified candidates must have a Master’s Degree or Bachelor's degree in

§ Marketing

§ 3+ years of progressively responsible brand management experience in a beauty care environment

§ Additionally, the successful candidate must have demonstrated ability with financials, strategic thinking, and leadership in a cross-functional environment

§ Strong communication skills

§ Excellent interpersonal/collaboration/relationship building skills

§ Strong drive for results

§ Creative, “out of the box� thinker
