In addition to sales offices in North America, the company has a sales presence in Italy, Switzerland, Hong Kong and Belgium to serve global customers.Responsibilities include: Responsible for general electrical and mechanical maintenance of bulk storage facility including truck loading rack; Perform various tasks as requested by Terminal Manager including, but not limited to, basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting; basic pump motor starter maintenance; valve actuator maintenance; testing system safety devices; periodic inspections of tanks, valves, piping and other items related to a petroleum products facility; product quality control; and other technically oriented tasks; Available for on-call rotation (nights and weekends, as required by number of personnel in rotation) to respond to terminal and other system “call-outs”; Available to work shift work/rotating shift work as necessary; Coordinate with schedulers for the delivery and receipt of petroleum products; Computer data input and reconciliation of fuel tank inventories. Manage small projects as required by Terminal Manager. Self-starting, highly motivated individual requiring minimal supervision on day to day tasks. Strong economic thinking and time management skills (manage overtime and travel costs related to job). (EOE M/F/D/V) Experience Required Basic electrical, instrumentation and mechanical knowledge; Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word); Verbal and written communication skills; Valid driver’s license; Critical thinking and decision making skills; Good organizational skills; Willing to work shift work if necessary and be on-call for after hours support; Ability to safely lift at least 50 lbs; Ability to climb ladders and storage tank stairs (approximately 50’ in height) for maintenance and gauging operations; Work outdoors in adverse weather conditions; Reside within a 30 minute drive time of the facility; Willing to wear fire retardant clothing, as necessary; Willing to utilize Personal Protective Equipment (e.g., hard hat, safety glasses, fire retardant clothing, resperator, safety work boots) as necessary; Occasional travel (with overnight stays) required for attending training, meetings and assisting other areas or locations. Education RequiredHigh School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited schoolExperience PreferredIdeal candidates will have at least two years electro-mechanical/ industrial experience in the refined products and/or oil and gas industry;Mechanical/Industrial trade school will be considered work experience;Other preferred skills may include: Understanding of basic hydraulics;general knowledge of pumps; general knowledge of valves (ball, gate, etc.); general knowledge of bulk storage terminal and pipeline operationsEducation Preferred Two year technical or mechanical degree or related work experience Compensation/Benefits Competitive wages and benefits packages commensurate with experience.
