National Account Manager - Wal-Mart and Sam's Clubs

NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER WAL-MART AND SAM’S CLUB DescriptionDo you have at least 5 years of Account Management experience selling decorative products into Wal-Mart?  If so, we have a terrific opportunity for you.  Our Client is a leading consumer products manufacturer.  Designing and delivering trend-right products to mass merchants, specialty retailers and home centers worldwide, their focus is to provide high quality products with unparalleled customer service.  We are looking for an experienced account manager to join their team in a key sales capacity; managing both the Wal-Mart and the Sam’s club business.This position will manage all facets of the Company’s business at Wal-Mart and Sam’s club. Design and execute specific and effective overall strategy to facilitate profitable sales growth. Be responsible for preservation of existing business and penetration of new business. Maintain Wal-Mart relationships by creating credibility, developing trust, and providing outstanding service.Manage the day-to-day requirements of the business and customer.Work to accomplish the following:· Strategic development of Wal-Mart promotional programs. · Management of multiple tasks related to preparation for and execution of the selling process. · Work with cross-functional teams including brand, forecasting, finance, category and supply chain. · Lead the selling process to various Wal-Mart buyers across multiple departments.Qualifications· 5-7 years of Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club sales, category, and/or channel experience · Knowledge of Retail Link· Bachelors degree in business or a related field · Experience with sales and marketing budgets, P&L, forecasting, promotional offers to drive sales · Experience with consumer products and large retail chain customers  · Superior Teamwork Skills · Willingness to travel  · Excellent written & verbal communication skills · Superior Communication / Presentation Skills · Planning & Organizing · Strong Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills This individual will have the benefit of working from a home-based office with regular travel to Wal-Mart headquarters.  Candidate must live in Arkansas or neighboring state.  No relocation provided.Compensation $80-90K plus bonus.  Competitive benefits package.Interested applicants should send resume and salary requirements to jenee@halcyongroup.net   MRINetwork, one of the world's largest search and recruitment organizations, has over 1,000 offices in more than 35 countries.
