National Account Manager

Summary:

 

The National Account Manager will seek and secure new distribution partners and end users for data center removable magnetic media products.  The qualified candidate must implement company sales and marketing goals and identify all opportunities within the business unit; primary representative to the customer for the attainment of all revenue, expense, profit and customer satisfaction objectives.  Candidate will be responsible to motivate and train customer sales representatives.  Ideal candidate will be able to adapt to change, build positive working relationships, communicate effectively, focus on customers, initiate improvements and take ownership. 

 

Essential Functions:

 Develop and Implement key sales strategies for increasing sales and profits for specialized accounts within a specific territory in the NE region.Cultivate existing relationships and seek new business opportunities within the assigned territory.Professional Mastery of business operations, Account Development & Managements, Consultative Selling, Business DevelopmentObtain information about new methods and techniques for selling as well as training programs that will benefit and help the division.Produce clear, concise, accurate written communication.Experience calling on and providing data storage solutions to data center managers and end users.Anticipates, creates and defines innovative and visionary concepts in a strategic environment.

Travel and overtime Requirements:

 

This position will require travel 20 – 30% of the time

Educational and/or Experience Requirements:

 

· Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent Sales Experience

· 2 – 5 years experience in sales

· General Data Storage Industry Knowledge

· Basic Industry Knowledge
