Title: Public Relations Consultant Brand: SkinCeuticals Function Public Relations Reports to: Vice President of Marketing Location: New York, NY Position Status: ConsultantWork Hours: 3 days per weekPRINCIPLE OBJECTIVE:Responsible for managing the day to day PR operations on all activities related to the SkinCeuticals brand. Coordinate major national launch event and manage PR campaign/presence utilizing traditional and non-traditional communications mediums. Generate strong and consistent SkinCeuticals presence in lead consumer, medical and specialist channels. This position will be responsible for new product launch events and publicity-driven consumer events designed to build continued brand awareness for SkinCeuticals. Aggressively seek out new avenues of publicity that go far beyond national magazine coverage and build relationships with top level media.RESPONSIBILITIES:' Manager public relations strategy for SkinCeuticals: Work closely with Marketing Teams to determine which areas are best served by Public Relations; brainstorm recommendations on how PR can augment the marketing plans to help drive brand image and ultimately sales. ' Manage activities calendar, execute mailings and write pitch letters and script remarks for interviews.' Responsible for all elements of PR events planning and consumer programs for SkinCeuticals.' Act as primary contact for all press relations and inquiries.' Manage editor mailings and act as primary contact for editor requests, interviews, daily fulfillment. ' Responsible for writing pr releases & press kit development, pitch letters, internal/external announcements. ' Work with Producers, Designers and Art Directors on the creation of events, press kits, and collateral materials.' Provide daily direction to outside agencies as needed.
