Summary
We are looking for a “high energy,â€� motivated individual to seize ownership of assigned sales territory to improve company position in every retail outlet to achieve maximum sales.  The Merchandising Supervisor will achieve this through engaged, effective supervision of the merchandising team assigned to their responsibility.  The supervisor will be responsible for executing all headquarter sales and merchandising objectives at retail and supervising the day to day responsibilities of the merchandising team.  The supervisor will work toward establishing relationships at retail that facilitate the company’s, and retailer’s, overall sales objectives and goals to create win-win result.

Essential job functionsMaintain all aspects of Merchandiser job description and responsibilities in assigned store territory as required. Responsible for all merchandiser and new-hire training and associate development in assigned region Conduct consistent and focused work-withs and training for on-going coaching and associate enhancement. Teach / Support / Promote / Maintain all Roll Merchandising goals, “Best Practices� and objectives for responsible personnel and territories. Develop/maintain relationships with retailer produce field operations personnel and supervisors to facilitate account penetration. Assist in the planning and execution of all special projects as needed. Educate/Assist/Inform produce managers concerning all Roll product issues and marketing objectives and programs. Manage/Record/Submit all personnel and territory performance tracking as assigned. Manage/Update/Disseminate all assigned territory authorization lists, retail grids and Handheld/Website product updates as needed.

RequirementsMust be a self-starter able to work independently and in the team environment. Seeking a positive, self-assured and intuitive individual expressing a strong yet supportivecoaching style Demonstrated leadership / coaching abilities with proven track record and experience required Retail Produce, Merchandising or Sales experience required College degree will be given primary consideration Organized and able to prioritize/multi-task Must have outstanding communication / inter-personal skills.  Bi-Lingual a plus. Adaptable individual essential for changing environment Must be able to travel on a routine basis for work-with / training activity as needed.  Travel may be up to 50% depending on assigned territory and geography.  Clean driving record is required Must be able to lift 50lbs. with no restrictions Able to work a flexible schedule as needed Computer literate and ale to proficiently navigate MS Outlook, Word and Excel
