Excel Garden Products, providing sales support and logistics for both proprietary brands and other consumer recognized brands, is searching for Merchandisers for stocking our products at the retail establishments and servicing the Store manager’s needs with our sales teams requirements. This individual is key to establishing a good rapport with significant store individuals. Please see our web site for additional company information – www.central.com Key Responsibilities · Locates and transfers pallets/cases of product from the store’s backroom to the products shelves and displays, using proper rotation techniques (oldest in front to freshest in the back)· Removes any dated or damaged product and properly face the product· Follows store protocol for disposing of cartons· Communicates any issues to regional sales manager· Maintains itinerary as stores are assigned/delegated for the sequence changes· Reports daily hours worked via timesheets faxed weekly to supervisor· Demonstrates safe work practices· Any other duties as assigned Experiences/Skills/Education · Ability to work a minimum of three days to a five day schedule that may include weekends and early mornings· Required to have reliable transportation· Frequent public contact; must maintain a professional demeanor at all times.· Requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds with ease and dexterity.· Ability to work at various heights setting displays, fixtures, shelving and products, which may require the use of ladders· Able to tolerate exposure to store and warehouse conditions including wide variances in temperature· Must be able to spend up to 50% of the day traveling in your vehicle· Successful drug test and background screen required Apply here: http://tbe.taleo.net/NA3/ats/careers/requisition.jsp?org=CENTRAL&cws=1&rid=644
